Understanding Affiliate Links

When you click one of our links and make a qualifying purchase, we receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Our Independence Policy

The short answer: it does not.
The existence of affiliate commissions does not influence which products we recommend, which products we criticize, or the order in which we rank products in our comparison guides. A product earns a recommendation on PetEliteCare by meeting our quality standards, not because of its commission rate. We regularly include products in our reviews that earn lower commissions or even no commission at all, simply because they are the best option for our readers. We also openly discuss product limitations and downsides, even for highly-rated items. Our goal is to be useful to you, not to maximize clicks. If we have a material connection to a product or brand beyond the standard Amazon affiliate relationship, we will always disclose this explicitly in the relevant article.

Other Affiliate Relationships

In addition to the Amazon Associates Program, Pet Elite Care may from time to time participate in other affiliate programs offered by pet product brands, platforms, or networks. In all such cases, the same independence policy described above applies. We will always disclose the affiliate nature of such links within the relevant page or post.

What We Promise

We are committed to the following standards in all of our content:

  • We will always disclose affiliate relationships clearly and prominently
  • We will never recommend a product we would not personally use or trust for our own pets
  • We will always represent product limitations and drawbacks honestly
  • We will update our recommendations when products change, improve, or decline in quality
  • We will clearly label sponsored content if we ever publish it in the future
